The package contains 17 blood preforms with baked fluids and decals
-Works out of the box. Just drag and drop onto the scene
-Easy scaling (using transform scaling)
-Any color
-Any layer for rendering decals
-Decals appear depending on the height of the blood position (up to 2~5 meters)
-Used screen space decals (required depth buffer).
It’s pretty fast. This method does not duplicate the mesh like a projector and only uses 12 triangles per decal.
-Decals can be applied to any surface with an angular deviation of up to 90 degrees. It can also be projected onto the floor and walls at the same time (but with a little overhead)
-Used instance rendering for blood and decals You can render the same blood prefab 500 times in two draw calls
-Number of triangles per effect 3k-6k.
Unfortunately, there is no universal way to project the decal at the point of impact. Because each project used different moving models, different UVs, different shaders.
So I use a screen space sticker (90 degree limit) and attach it to a moving object or bones.
